A
full field endured some very wet conditions for the
traditional opening day of the Manchester Captains Society
season at Bramhall.
Making light of the conditions were winning pair Ian
Wilbur and Brian Holt from Turton who amassed a fine
haul of 44 points to take the top prizes in the Founders
competition.
The
day was also the traditional start of the reign of the
new officials with Hazel Grove’s Robbie Phillips
becoming the new society Captain, taking over from Withington’s
Harry Prow.
Joining
Robbie in the top office is Barry Swainson of Reddish
Vale who has become the new society President and Coln
Shadbolt was appointed as the new vice Captain.
