Due to adverse weather conditions the Match had to be abandoned.

The rain was unceasing and a few intrepid golfers tried to brave the conditions but many did not get past the 7th – next to the Clubhouse.

However, 4 groups did make it round the course lead by our valiant Captain Irvin Caplan.

After a very welcome hot meal the “Harken Trophy” was presented to the Captain of Bolton Bernard Doyle.

A commemorative plaque was presented to the Captain of Blackley G C to mark our visit to the Club.
