To
celebrate their Centenary The Society Liverpool Golf Captains
entertained the Bolton Society of Golf Captains and the
Society of Manchester and District Golf Captains at Childwall
Golf Club on Thursday 7th August
The
course was a wonderful test of golf and was in immaculate
condition and the weather apart from a 5 minute spell of
rain was hot and sunny
The
Match consisted of teams of 32 with one from each Society
playing together in an individual Stableford competition
with all the scores to count to each Society
The
overall positions at the end was :-
Liverpool -1011 points
Bolton – 986 points
Manchester – 976 points
The
individual winner from Manchester was Ged Gaffey from Bolton
Old Links with 39 points
