Captain of Disley Golf Club 20**
Manchester and District Golf Captains has been in existence since 1955 and has some 650 members drawn from over 100 clubs within a 25 miles radius catchment area of Manchester Town Hall.
The objective of the body is to provide the opportunity for the further development of friendships amongst the Gentlemen Golf Captains of Clubs situated within the Manchester and District area. This will be achieved by the operation of a Golf and Social Program designed to address the evolving requirements of the membership and to foster relationships with other Golf Captains Groups.
The Association arranges an extensive program of fixtures each year for the benefit of the members and these well attended events provide the opportunity to play different Manchester courses through the years. Additionally, the Association holds an Annual Dinner in November where attendees are able to meet County Dignitaries and other Honoured Guests from our related Captains' Organisations.
Current and Past Captains of clubs within the catchment area are invited and actively encouraged to become a member the Association. Enquiries for membership should be directed to the Hon. Secretary, Membership Chairman or any member of the Executive.
